Fire and Safety Forum 2026
We participated in the Fire and Safety Forum 2026 conference in Opatija, which brought together more than 230 experts in the fields of fire protection, fire engineering, and building safety from Croatia and the region.
On May 26 and 27, we participated in the Fire and Safety Forum 2026 conference held in Opatija, organized by the Croatian Fire Protection Association (HUZOP), in partnership with Konfa Media and Zaštita magazine, and under the patronage of the Ministry of the Interior, the Croatian Firefighting Association, and the Croatian Engineering Association.
CFSF 2026 brought together more than 230 experts from Croatia and the region in the fields of fire engineering, fire protection, and building safety, creating a platform for the exchange of knowledge, experience, and modern practices. Through lectures, panel discussions, and professional networking, the forum connected designers, institutions, industry representatives, and the academic community, further strengthening cooperation among all key stakeholders in the field of fire protection.
Our colleague, Sales Engineer Tomislav Lacković, also took part in the conference program. Through his presentation, “Advanced Fire Detection System in the Učka Tunnel,” and a panel discussion, he presented the operation of the advanced fire detection system in both tubes of the Učka Tunnel, as well as the challenges ECCOS faced during the construction and reconstruction project.
We are pleased to have been part of this professional gathering and to contribute to the exchange of knowledge and experience in the field of fire protection.
