Surveillance of Public Areas and Perimeter Protection conference (DE)

We attended the „Surveillance of Public Areas and Perimeter Protection“ conference, which was organized by Security Report, a Croatian trade journal dedicated to the safety and protection of people and property, and sponsored by the Ministry of the Interior and the Croatian Security Association.  The conference took place on November 28, 2023, at the Zonar Hotel in Zagreb.At the conference, there were interesting expert presentations and panel discussions on two main topics. The first topic was surveillance and the related Law on the Implementation of the General Regulation on Data Protection. The second topic was perimeter protection.

Our colleague Marko Merkaš, who is a senior development engineer, gave a presentation titled „How secure is your security“. In his presentation, he emphasized the importance of cyber security and the selection of a secure smart city system.We always enjoy participating in conferences that deal with these topics, as they provide us with the opportunity to exchange experiences and points of view with experts and colleagues.
