
We participated in Export Conference organised by Lider Media. Our General Manager and co-owner, Krešimir Paić, held a presentation “Croatian Expertise – Creating Higher Value Through Exports,” where he shared ECCOS’s export journey and the company’s experience in expanding into international markets.
We took part in the 13th Export Conference, now a well-established annual event organised by Lider Media. Held under the slogan “Smart Businesses Know the Value of Exporting,” the conference aims to highlight the importance of exports as one of the key drivers of GDP growth. In addition to members of Lider’s Exporters Club, representatives of the Croatian Government, ministries, financial institutions, parliamentary parties and Members of the European Parliament, the conference also brought together representatives of companies that are already active in international markets, as well as those looking to strengthen their export performance.
Among the many distinguished speakers and panellists, our General Manager and co-owner, Krešimir Paić, also contributed to the programme. He delivered a presentation entitled “Croatian Expertise – Creating Higher Value Through Exports,” serving as the keynote introduction to the panel of the same name. During his presentation, he shared the export journey of ECCOS, highlighting the numerous challenges the company has faced and the valuable lessons learned along the way.
He emphasised that exports are of crucial importance and encouraged Croatian companies not to hesitate when entering international markets. According to him, Croatia possesses exceptional technical expertise, and opportunities exist for companies of all sizes. He also drew a comparison with the Croatian national football team, whose players have developed their skills by competing for Europe’s leading clubs. In much the same way, companies working on major European projects continuously expand their knowledge, refine their expertise and gain invaluable experience.
He also stressed the importance of building a business on strong values throughout this journey and remaining persistent. Dedication and perseverance always pay off, as demonstrated by ECCOS’s continued international growth. In addition to its presence across the region, Germany and Belgium, the company has recently expanded into the United Kingdom and the Scandinavian markets, including Denmark, Sweden and Norway.
The positive feedback received following Mr Paić’s presentation was especially rewarding and confirmed the value of sharing our experience. We would like to thank the organisers for the invitation, the opportunity to gain new insights into the current state of Croatian exports, and the chance to exchange experiences and network with fellow industry professionals.
