Conference: Safety in Traffic – Challenges of New Technologies

When discussing traffic safety, statistics indicate that we are once again among the three countries with the worst traffic safety in the European Union. In order to emphasize the importance of preventive measures and to warn of the dangers and consequences of inappropriate driving practices such as speeding, driving under the influence of alcohol, and not using seat belts, as well as to provide solutions for making roads safer Security Report, a Croatian trade journal, under the auspices of the Ministry of the Sea, Transport and Infrastructure of the Republic of Croatia, organized the conference « Traffic Safety – Challenges of New Technologies » on September 10, 2024.During the conference, participants had the opportunity to learn more about the National Road Traffic Safety Plan 2024, new trends, technologies, projects for safer roads and traffic infrastructure, and new traffic solutions in cities.

Our Sales Manager, Ivan Bilać, also gave a lecture on the Učka Tunnel Project: Integration of Technology and Engineering. He explained how the second tube of the Učka tunnel is being fully equipped with state-of-the-art electrical and mechanical systems to achieve the highest standards of traffic safety in the tunnel.
